Narrow Gauge Now 2025
.... was held at Portland College, on Saturday October 25th 2025. Attendance was again up on last year and we would like to thank all the layout owners, demonstrators and trade stand staff for their support, the volunteers who organised the event, and particularly you for coming along and enjoying it! We were pleased to present a range of narrow guage layouts in a mixture of scale and gauge combinations, along with a good representation of traders supoporting our hobby.
The final listings for layouts and demos, and for the traders are shown below, along with a selection of photos from the day. There will be a show report in a future edition of the 009 News.
Just for fun, we held a visitors poll for the "best layout in the show", and the top three results were as follows:
Nant Gwernol - OO9 - George Williamson
2. Tony's Forest - O14 - Robin Edwards
3. Fitzwilliam Basin - O Scale/9mm gauge - Andy Booth
In addition we have since learnt that at the show Fourdees did some networking with several of the other manufacturers in the hobby present on the day, including EDM Models, N-Drive and Westcliff Works. They are putting together some new partnerships for products in multiple scales and we at EMNGM are very proud to be the catalyst for this!
