Committee

The "Inaugural Meeting" to adopt a constitution (below) was held as part of the May 24th 2025 meeting at Portland College. The meeting agreed to adopt the constiution and formally elected a committee, circulated membership forms and took a brief statement of our current financial position. The reason for doing this is to protect our financial position for the future, given the increasing success of our annual open day "Narrow Gauge Now". However, in the spirit of earlier discussions, our social meetings will continue to be informal and open to anyone interested in narrow gauge railway modelling, and membership will not be a prerequisite to attend. Plus we are not planning to charge any membership fee. The membership form can be found by clicking here. 

We had our first AGM as per the constitution as part of the May 23rd 2026 social meeting. More details of the AGM can be found here.

As of the May 2026 AGM the committee are Mark Dale (chair), Mark Hallgate (Treasurer), Andrew Mott (Show Co-ordinator), Charlie Forbes (Deputy Chair), Roger Simpson (Secretary), and with further members Ed Roulston and Alan Martin.
