Narrow Gauge Now

Welcome to the East Midlands Narrow Gauge Modelling Group website.

(Affiliated to the 009 Society.)

Newsflash - The latest details for Narrow Gauge Now on Saturday October 26th are here now!.

We are a group of narrow gauge railway modellers (mainly 009, but not exclusively) from around the East Midlands. We meet across lunchtime in the Cafe at Portland College, Mansfield, on the 4th Saturday of most months, though sometimes we also visit a members layout at their home.  We share our models, chat about narrow gauge railways, have the occasional modelling topic presentation or a group swapmeet, and we organise Narrow Gauge Now, our annual open day.  All interested modellers are welcome, and while you don't have to be a member of the 009 Society to come along, you may well be encouraged to join!

Click here for more details on our current meeting programme and the venue.

Narrow Gauge Now, our annual open day for narrow gauge modellers, has been running for some time now and it has grown significantly in recent years, with an increasing number of layouts and trade support. We would like to invite you to the next open day on Saturday 26th October 2024 - please click here for more information.
