Logo Ideas

At several recent group meetings we have speculated on the idea of having a logo for the group, something memorable that could be used as a badge for members and as an identifier for our group. Andrew has worked up a selection of ideas based on the front view of an Ashover Light Railway Baldwin Loco, as this is very much an East Midlands narrow gauge prototype that is easily identifiable.  

The votes are now in, and the most preferred design is Logo 3, with the majority of the votes. Very few people voted for the square designs. One suggestion was to remove the word "Group" from the lower banner, and have "EMNGMG" instead. Another suggestion was to remove the banner and just have the plain acronym EMNGMG instead. Once the committee is in place at the May meeting we can progress this further. Our thanks the Andrew for the original designs!
